The debut performance of the newly-formed Filipino-American trio, Tatsulok (triangle in Tagalog), composed of Kenken Gorder, Katrina Saporsantos, and Benjamin Dia. The program features music that connects to the cultural and natural influences of each member of the trio. In other words, the concert’s program shares the Filipino-American experience with the audience through music. It also highlights music newly written and arranged by members of the trio!
All tickets include a pre-concert & post-concert reception with pika pika (Filipino snacks), and Philippine drinks.

Filipino-American musicians Katrina Saporsantos (soprano), Benjmain Dia (piano), and Kenken Gorder (trumpet) will perform an evening of new music by living composers. The music ranges from solo works with electroacoustic elements to acoustic duo and trio works. Featured on the program are composers Michael Flynn, Susan Kander, and Steven Sérpa.

This special collaboration between Inversion Ensemble and Density512 pays tribute to legendary Icelandic singer Björk with freshly reimagined versions of her most beloved songs including Venus As a Boy, Hidden Place, It’s Oh So Quiet, Human Behaviour and more – all set for voices and chamber orchestra by local Austin composers.
